We count your oilseeds and confirm the size of each at the consultation, then quote the total before we start.
Oilseeds, also called milia seeds, are small, white, round bumps that form when keratin, a protein in the skin, becomes trapped under the surface. They are most common around the eyes and on the cheeks.
We remove them with a soft laser, a low-energy laser applied to each oilseed. Numbing cream goes on first and is left for 20 to 30 minutes before the laser starts.
The whole session takes 60 to 90 minutes, depending on how many oilseeds are removed. If you need another session, it is booked 1 month later.

What is an oilseed?

How long does a session take?

Yes. Numbing cream goes on and is left for 20 to 30 minutes before the soft laser starts.

1 month. If you need another session, book it about a month after the last one.
What should I avoid after the session?
For 3 days, avoid ginger, soy sauce, milk tea, coffee and seafood. Keep the treated area out of direct sun.
Who is not suitable for oilseed removal?
Anyone who is pregnant, and anyone with broken or sunburnt skin on the area. Tell us at the consultation and we will say whether to wait.
