Eyebrow Embroidery Experts in Petaling Jaya and Penang
Bowbowbrow is run by two sisters. Eva started eyebrow embroidery in 2015. Candice joined in 2017. For the first four years we had no studio at all. In 2019 we finally opened our own doors.

Eva and Candice
Bowbowbrow is founded and run by sisters. Eva leads the artistry, with more than 15 years in the beauty industry, and she still takes clients herself.
Candice joined in 2017 and looks after daily operations, marketing and the design of everything we print. We are a team of six across both studios, and Eva trains every artist personally.
Eleven years and more than 18,000 clients later, we still do one thing.

Our Eyebrow Embroidery Story
2015 – 2019
No fixed address
We started in our university days with one realisation: brows do not just change how you look, they change how you feel.
For four years we were, more or less, professional travellers. Equipment cases from Penang to KL to Singapore, small rented rooms inside other people's salons, and a lot of living rooms. To everyone who let us into their homes back then, thank you.
2019
Our own studios
We put down roots. Penang opened in April, Petaling Jaya in May. After four years of borrowing space, having our own rooms to welcome people into felt surreal.
2020 – 2023
Staying close
Lockdown hit us hard. We started sharing skincare advice and selling products just to stay connected, kept alive entirely by your DMs.
The one that stayed with us was the Pingmin Market pop-up. Doing brow consultations in the middle of a crowd showed us how many people could not work out what shape suited their face. That is still the problem we are solving.
2024
Nano Brows
We took the whole team to Bangkok. We ate, we laughed, and we came home with our heads clearer. Then we trained in Taipei and launched Nano Brows, which is now our most requested service.
2025 – now
Less is more
We closed our Neo Damansara branch. Not an easy decision, but two studios we can run properly beat three we cannot.
We spent the year improving rather than expanding. Three separate lip embroidery courses in Korea, Vietnam and China until we found a technique we were willing to offer. In June 2026 we launched Nano Combo Brows.

A private room for every appointment[not a shared floor]
Every client gets their own room. It is quiet and it is clean, and you are not on display while your brows are being done. More than a few clients have told us they fell asleep partway through, which we take as a compliment.
Everything disposable[single use, per client]
Every tool that touches your skin is single use, opened fresh for your appointment and discarded after. Our pigments are FDA-approved. If you are concerned about sensitivity, we will arrange a patch test before you book.
We keep retraining[Taipei, Korea, Vietnam, China]
We have changed technique several times, including moving from hand tools to machine work. We trained in Taipei for Nano Brows. The lip technique we use today came after three separate courses abroad. When something better exists, we go and learn it.
We tell you what actually suits you[including the cheaper answer]
Different brows suit different faces and different skin types. Send us a photo before you book and we will tell you honestly which technique to choose, including when the answer is a cheaper one. Our price list shows every option side by side.
Who we work with
Eyebrow Embroidery After Hair Loss
We work with clients who have lost their brows to chemotherapy and over-plucking.
One of the reasons we do this job is a client who came to us after chemo, and what her face did when she saw herself afterwards.
